For La Chute [The Fall], Denis Darzacq uses a photographic technique that contrasts two possible realities without the application of digital manipulations. On the one hand, the backdrop of the city with its generic and soulless architecture, and on the other, the honesty and power of these bodies in action, which refuse to submit or be silenced. The models are young people of the urban areas of the city, who Darzacq compares to “knights of modern times” who “know how to combine work and discipline, and to defy the laws of gravity and weightlessness”.
